Dialysis Centre in Sungai Buloh, Selangor
Salary range: RM 3,800 - RM 4,300
Job Description
- Report to the in-charge nurse
- Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the center
- Observe and follow guidelines and procedures listed in the operation manuals
- General supervision and training of dialysis aides.
- Educate patients on renal diet and oral fluid control
- Prepare case notes of patients prior to doctor’s visit
- Take blood samples for laboratory tests as and when required.
- Ensure that the dialysis machines are clean, safe and operational.
- Administer drugs according to the protocol recommended by the consultant nephrologist
- Ensure optional standard of infection control guidelines at all times.
- Inform the staff nurse in-charge of any adverse change in the patient’s clinical status, defective medical equipment, accidents and complaints.
- Be involved in continuing nursing education activities.
- Perform any other duties as and when required by the management.
