1. Nursing care for dialysis

2. Responsible to deliver optimum care to patients by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation, in accordance with the local and international standard and philosophy

3. Uphold the infection control policies in workplace by showing as a good role model and always ensure all the other members adhere to the infection control policies.

4. Ensure monitoring of the unit stock levels of consumables and medications for reordering to avoid interruption in the operational of assigned centre.

5. Maintains nursing and medical supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipts of supplies; using equipment and suppliesas needed to accomplish job results.

6. Performs other-position related duties as assigned, depending on management decesion and assignment setting.

7. Assist the head nurse to ensure effective systems are in place to gain patients and nurses’ feedback on their experience of care.

8. Ensure continuous health assessment and health education are being provided for patient to assess their progress and achievement of desired outcomes.

9. Mentoring trainees and junior nurses

10. Responsible to report and assist in the investigation of any incident within the workplace including sharp injury, near hit and property damage.

11. Take over as team leader when crisis arise in the center such medical emergency, natural disaster, patient-nurse conflict, water or electric interruption, any incident causing interruption of patient dialysis treatment.

12. Monitor and follow-up with patient’s payment and sponsirship. Provide update on patient payment record to be the necessary parties. Able to handle enquiries on the charges and sponsorship of treatment provided.

13. Familiar with all critical emergency situation policies such as no water or electricity supply, natural disaster (flood / fire) or medical emergency. Able to take necessary action during such critical and emergency situation.

14. Acting as the charge nurse in the absent of head nurse or the nurse manager.
